The competition which will start at 2.30pm will be held from the Trader Jack’s Bar and Restaurant.
The singles series has seen some good battles on the water in both men’s and women’s in the past, and a fierce competition is expected in this year’s race.
The race will see paddlers contest over a lap course running past Trader Jack's which also provides spectator friendly viewing.
The national singles race will provide the national athletes with a final hit out before they leave the country for the Pacific Games which will be held from July 8-20 in Apia, Samoa.
