The annual event was held at the Tikioki Tri Site in Titikaveka.
Individuals and teams of three were invited to participate in three different age categories – all including a swim, bike and run.
The 9 years and under took part in 100 metres swim (or walk in the water), 3km cycle and 1km run. The first overall prize in this category went to Edmund Postrzygacz.
The other two age categories – 10 to 12 years and 13 to 16 years – had participants competing in 200m swim, 5km cycle and 2km run.
Maya Postrzygacz won the top prize in the 10-12 years category while Seychelle Carter claimed the first overall prize in 13-16 years.
Team Grace won the first overall in team 13-16 years category.
Roland Neururer, the president of Cook Islands Triathlon Association, said: “Last Saturday’s Paradise Supplies Kids Triathlon was held in very hot, but beautiful condition, with all kids having a blast … and everybody been a winner in the end.”
