Titikaveka, Avarua, Nikao, Imanuela Akatemia and Papaaroa also participated in the annual badminton competition.
Each match was played for six minutes with change over at half time, playing in pools of a round robin style competition.
Loureina Samson ‘the girl’s singles champion’ felt great winning her games, she has played badminton for two years and enjoys everything about the sport.
“I like how the sport goes, I train at least twice a week and I encourage others to train hard and sweat for it,” she says.
The competition continues today with the year 9 and 10 students taking to the courts at the National Auditorium from 9am.
