The Ngatangiia/Matavera Netball Club celebrated the end of the season in style, starting the morning off with a bus ride around the island for the junior players last Saturday.

Games and activities held later that day at Nukupere Park were well attended by parents and family who turned up to show support for their daughters.

“It was great to see the dad’s turn up and join in the day’s activities with their daughters,” said a proud mum.

The atmosphere was lively and there were comments on how great it was to see the support from the community who made the effort to come along and contribute to this special day of appreciation for all the netball teams.

Each excited junior player received a special gift prize and they are looking forward to the next season of netball.
