In the semi-finals held at Avatiu netball court on Wednesday afternoon, the home team overcame Tupapa 35-24 in open 1 and 32-24 in open 2 matches.
The other open 1 semis between Takuvaine and Ngatangiia was stopped in the third quarter after the umpire deemed there was not enough light to continue play.
A meeting is expected to be called between the Netball Cook Islands executives to decide whether a rematch should be held this weekend.
Meanwhile the remaining semis will be held tomorrow at the Arorangi courts.
Arorangi will take on the mighty Avatiu while the undefeated Titikaveka will play Tupapa in the premier semi-finals.
