Outside back ready for the big league

Australian pundits are picking Cook Islands back Steven Marsters as one to watch when the NRL kicks off again after its enforced break.

LWOS senior editor Robert Rees has named Marsters as one of 10 player who can make the big step up this year. “Rugby fans that bet on Betway sports betting and other sports betting sites already know about these budding talents,” he says.

Marsters has moved across from the Dragons and signed for the Sydney Rabbitohs in 2020.

Rees describes him as a “gifted” outside back.

“At 19 years, he has already played for the Cook Islands and has the capability to shine at the big leagues,” he says.

“The bunnies have many players at the back five, but an injury could present him the opportunity for his debut.”
