Panthers beat Bears 32-12

Defending champions Tupapa Panthers have moved to second spot in the Raro Cars Rugby League Competition 2019.

 

The side defeated Arorangi Bears 32-12 in the feature match of the round on Saturday to manage the top two placing.

The match which was held at Raemaru Park saw the visitors take an early lead in the opening spell. The Panthers maintained composure in the second spell and held onto their lead to claim the win.

The Darren Piri-coached side now has 14 points while the Bears are on third place with 12 points.

The Ngatangiia Matavera Sea Eagles maintain the pole position after beating Aitutaki Sharks 40-16 on Friday.
