CRICKET

The Computer Man cricket competition will have its playoff matches in men’s and women’s divisions today.

 

Women’s Top 4 Competition (3rd and 4th Playoff) 12:30pm – TKV versus Arorangi at Takuvaine - Umpires Nauma Atiau and Te Ngamata.

Men’s Top 4 Competition (3rd and 4th Playoff) 3:15pm - Titikaveka versus Matavera at Titikaveka - Umpires Oliver Syme and Pavai Taramai.

Men’s Bottom 6 Competition (Final) 3:15pm - Arorangi Red Backs versus Muri at Takuvaine - Umpires Nauma Atiau and Te Ngamata.

The round 13 Round Cup Championship 2015 competition continues today.

Today – OC1 and V1 Iron Challenges at Avarua Wharf: 8am Race 1 Registration - OC1 and V1 Iron Challenge 12km, Master Men (40 - 49), Senior Master Men (50 +), U19 Men; 9:30am Race 1 Start; 10am  Race 2 Registration - OC1 & V1 Iron Challenge 12km, Open Women, Master Women (40 - 49), Senior Master Women (50 +), U19 women; 11:30am Race 2 Start; 12pm Race 3 Registration, OC1 & V1 Iron 18km, Open Men; 1:30pm Race 3 Start.

Medals and trophies for OC1 and V1 Races will be presented at the Vaka Village when all races are completed. Late registration available during the day for Saturday arrivals; 6pm   Official opening ceremony and dinner, including cultural performance.

Tomorrow – please respect the wishes and customs of our traditional leaders and refrain from training or paddling. In the Cook Islands, this is still a day of rest.
