Road chaos continues

The combination of a large number of tourists and an even larger group of outer islanders on the island for Te Maeva Nui is contributing to traffic chaos on our roads, with many motorists apparently blissfully unaware of the road rules. Time for the police to mount continuous checkpoints, just like they did at Christmas. Or doesn’t the budget allow for that?

Now that the new minister for the new Corrections department is back on the island, fresh from his trip to Korea, are we likely to hear what he learned on his travels, and how it will benefit this country? Not likely, with his newly-appointed (but not officially) CEO maintaining silence on his new boss.
