The Telecom 3G data trap
No wonder Telecom is busily advertising their 3G data services - they can charge huge excess data fees, and gleefully tell the client AFTER the costs are incurred. One customer got an SMS alert at 31 per cent usage, and the next alert was of an excess charge bill for $73. How fair is that? If the alerts aren’t reliable, then how reliable is the billing?
Why no public tender?
Can someone please explain to the public how the operator of the Airport Café got this concession without it being advertised for public tender? The general public should have been given the same opportunity as the current tenant.
So much for neutrality
PSC issued their political neutrality instructions to all public servants but seemingly forgot about the Public Service Commissioner – himself a political appointee. It appears that some Ministers’ CEOs are publicly supporting political meetings and campaigns by the CIP and that a certain HoM is actively campaigning.
