It’s sad how now they want to make helmets compulsory for everyone because of all these alcohol-related deaths. No offence but how about us who always follow the road law, and don’t drink. Yeah, it’s what i mean by sad, we all suffer. Well I guess it is what it is.
I don’t drink, I don’t go outing at all, i’m 39 years old and been riding a motorcycle ever since I got my first license, and I don’t like wearing a helmet.
I like riding my motorcycle with no helmet, in summer it’s so hot in the helmet, going to work, we will have to get to work to do up our hair because it will do no good in the helmet.
Under-age kids can hide underneath the helmet because the police won’t see them as under-age because of the helmet, and it will make it harder for police to see the drivers if they a drunk or not if they in their helmet ... some can easily get away with it.
And for me i enjoy the breeze riding with no helmet, but again yes i know safety comes first, and i will follow the law if it comes into play.
Just hope that this is the problem, because wearing helmets won’t stop drink-driving or alcohol-related accidents for sure – yes, might save lives but really?
We just look into helmets and not alcohol. Sad.
