Time to fight for anolyte

Thursday July 18, 2019 Published in Letters to the Editor

Dear editor,

The merit of “anolyte” is its ability to kill germs, bacterium, protozoa, and viruses, unlike chlorine which fails to eliminate all the major nasty bugs, and just ends up smelling and tasting of the chemical chlorine.

Algeria, Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Georgia, Iran, Russia, South Africa and Sweden are some of the many countries that implement anolyte as a superior alternative to chlorine – and is why the United Nations have invited Dr Ian Calhaem, scientist and anolyte advocate expert, to do an anolyte presentation in Geneva, Switzerland.

With the formation of the new anti-chlorination group Te Vai Ora Maori, our people who oppose chlorination need to contact chairperson Anna Rasmussen. I mean, $500,000 and 100 tonnes of chlorine stuff – really?

It’s time to fight government’s BS, formulate a plan, and act together now.

Ka Kite e Kia Manuia,

Papa Williams
