Deputy prime minister Mark Brown is still in Fiji and will this week attend the Pacific Islands Forum Economic Ministers Meeting. The three-day meeting starts today.

Brown, who is also the country’s finance minister, has been in Fiji for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) annual meeting which ended last week.

The Pacific Islands Forum Economic Ministers Meeting is an annual meeting of finance ministers and senior officials from around the region to discuss a broad range of economic management and development issues in the Pacific.

Following this forum, Brown will head to Palmerston North, New Zealand for an energy conference along with prime minister Henry Puna.
