Ambassador pays a visit

Republic of Korea Ambassador to the Cook Islands, Seung-bae Yeo, presented his credentials as ambassador to the Cook Islands at a ceremony at Government House on Wednesday

 

Accompanied by his wife Sung Hee Choi, he delivered a speech to an audience including the Queen’s Representative Tom Marsters and his wife Tuaine, prime minister Henry Puna, Foreign Affairs secretary Tepaeru Herrmann and Seventh Day Adventist pastor Eric Toleafoa.

Also present were Korean Counsellor, Young-gi-Ahn and Cook Islands Korean National Ngatokorua Ngatokorua.

Marsters also made a speech and the presentation of credentials was followed by the exchange of gifts.

The ambassador arrived in the Cook Islands on Tuesday and was scheduled to leave Rarotonga today.
