Braving inclement weather, a large and enthusiastic crowd gathered at the Ngatangiia CICC Mission Ground on Friday to mark Gospel Day.

The 2018 Annual Nuku Pageant commemorated 197 years of Christianity in the Cook Islands.

There were six performances from Ngatangiia, Matavera, Avarua, Nikao, Arorangi and Titikaveka involving action songs, drum dances, chants, ute or imene tuki.

It was a morning of joy and happiness that captured the imaginations of many visitors to Rarotonga.

Here is the next in a series of images taken on Gospel Day. There will be more to come this week.
