Tavioni, welcomed New Zealand carver Chauncey Flay into his studio earlier this year, and together they inspired each other into creating stunning abstract black basalt stone and white coral sculptures that went on exhibition last week. 17102911

Little did carver Chauncey Flay know last year when he took a couple of pieces of coral back to New Zealand last year to experiment with, that it would draw him back to Rarotonga again for a once in a life-time opportunity to exhibit his work with leading Cook Islands artist Mike Tavioni.
