Rarotongan lawyer and Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast Charles Little was taken on a last ride around his beloved island yesterday morning.

Little died suddenly last week.

Riding Little’s own Harley Davidson Fat Boy, good friend Kevin George led the cortege that carried Little’s coffin around Rarotonga and back to his home in Punakiore, Matavera, where he was laid to rest on the family property after a service yesterday afternoon.

George said Little was a “great guy who always had 10 ideas on the go at once”, including a plan to start Harley Davidson tours for tourists on the island.

Little had earlier this year brought his Fat Boy back from New Zealand where it had been for the past two years being restored to its original condition.

“Charles was always on the go, he was the original Energizer Bunny,” George said. “He needed a rest, but not like this. It’s going to take a while to get used to Charles not being around.”

George said he was honoured to be chosen by the family to ride Little’s Harley and take his good friend around Rarotonga one last time.
