Clark raises important issues

Former New Zealand prime minister Helen Clark, met with the National Council of Women (NCW) on Saturday during her whirlwind visit to the Cook Islands last week.

Born and raised on Rarotonga, Nikau Edward Tangaroa, the son of the late Papa Nikau Tangaroa and Mama Ina, recently graduated from Palmerston North’s Massey University with a Master of Aviation (with Distinction).

The Ministry of Culture’s Te Mire ‘Ura Junior and Intermediate International dancer of the year competition starts at 6.30pm on Thursday evening at the National Auditorium.

A bright, cheerful and colourful group of women gathered at Tamarind House on Saturday for Helen Clark’s presentation on Women in Politics, hosted by the National Council of Women (NCW).
