Pupils face short wait for NCEA results

Tuesday January 08, 2019 Written by Published in Education

National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) results will be released to all students who studied at NCEA levels 1, 2 or 3 in 2018, on January 14 (Cook Islands time).

The following week on Monday January 21 from 9am to 2pm, Tereora College will begin taking enrolments for all remaining new students who would like to study at the national college.

The following day from 10am – 2pm, all Tereora College students studying in years 12 and 13 will be required to confirm their preferred 2019 course selections. They can do these by taking their NCEA results to Tereora College at the arranged time.

From January 22 to Friday January 25, the school will be closed to students and open to teachers only. On these days, the teachers of Tereora College will prepare the school for what already looks like a particularly busy 2019 school year.

On Monday January 28 beginning at 8.20am, college students in years 10, 11 and 12 will be required to attend school for a half day.

The following day, again beginning at 8.20am, Tereora College students in years 9 and 13 will also have a half day at school.

The full school year officially begins on Wednesday January 30 and all students are expected to be at Tereora College between the hours of 8.20am and 3.00pm.
