Cook Islands Tertiary Training Institute (CITTI) celebrated another round of graduates on Friday last week.

A total of 215 students were praised and rewarded for their achievements.

Certificates for students who completed the Kia Orana Service, Effective Supervisory Management and Level 1 International Award in Barista skills courses were handed out.

VIPs in attendance included Cook Islands Tourism chief executive officer Halatoa Fua and CITTI director Caroline Medway-Smith.

Medway-Smith in particular praised the graduates as well as the commitment shown by their families to allow the students to complete their studies.

“Most of the study for these courses is done outside of work and family commitments so thank you to you for allowing them the time to further themselves.”

The Kia Orana Service course was into its fourth year, run in conjunction with Cook Islands Tourism with many companies on the island again taking up the course.

Medway-Smith says the course will soon be available in Aitutaki.
