Four liners due next month

Four cruise ships are expected to arrive in the Cook Islands next month.


According to Cook Islands Tourism, the first ship Albatros arrives on February 2 in Aitutaki and will later arrive in Rarotonga on February 3.

The cruise ships are expected to arrive at 7am and depart at approximately 5pm the same day.

The vessels are expected to operate at Arutanga Harbour for Aitutaki and Avatiu Harbour for Rarotonga.

Depending on weather conditions disembarking will not be confirmed until the morning of arrival and it is totally dependent on the assessments by the captain or agent.

Cook Islands Tourism has advised that all tourism operators must prepare as much as possible for these arrivals and conditions.

Other cruise ships such as; Crystal Serenity arrives of February 4 in Aitutaki, February 5 in Rarotonga, Europa 2 arrives on February 13 in Aitutaki and February 14 in Rarotonga, Europa 2 again arrives on February 24 in Rarotonga followed by Costa Luminosa on February 27 in Rarotonga alone.
