It’s the third WSA win for Te Manava Spa, which also won the award in 2015 and 2016. The accolade comes two months after Te Manava won the Cook Islands’ Leading Villa Resort 2018 from the World Travel Awards (WTA).
On October 26, global spa industry leaders travelled to The St Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort in the Maldives for the fourth annual WSA ceremony. The internationally-acclaimed World Spa Awards were created in reaction to demand from the rapidly-evolving spa industry and the sister event to the prestigious world awards.
The Spa takes pride on staying connected to its local roots through the use of Cook Islands products in the services they offer. These include their signature hand-made coconut body scrub, which nourishes and gives skin a healthy glow. The Spa also offers packages, combining facials, body scrubs or massage.
Te Manava’s facials use Te Tika products, which contain naturally derived ingredients exclusively from the Cook Islands. The products are free of parabens and harmful chemicals, and are not tested on animals.
The Te Tika range is available for purchase from the Spa.
