During the GBU, Expedia’s Pacific Islands area manager Samantha Stock and associate market manager for the Cook Islands, Bruna Fernandes, will be presenting on the Expedia Group.
The pair hope to demonstrate how Expedia adds value to the tourism industry in the Cook Islands beyond distribution.
The following day on May 16 the Expedia team will also be hosting a workshop for both new and existing partners at the Edgewater Resort, Rarotonga.
From 9-10am, associate market manager Fernandes will take those attending through Expedia’s Partner Central and all of the tools available for partners to optimise their listings with Expedia and ultimately generate more revenue.
During this time, partners will also have the opportunity to review their own listing with the team and ask questions. Morning tea will follow.
Then, from 10.30am, Fernandes’ fellow associate market manager Katri Hiltunen will present to prospective partners, explaining how to join Expedia and what the benefits of joining are. There will also be time during this session for those who are interested to sit down with the team and to sign up to join Expedia.
Expedia Group is one of the world’s foremost travel platforms – in 2017 alone, Expedia Group generated US$88 billion in gross bookings and 312 million room nights.
