The movie is being shown in association with the Cook Islands News, which is making a donation to counselling centre Punanga Tauturu to support its work.
Punanga Tauturu counsels those who suffer abuse: “We try our best to be visible and people can contact us through Facebook or our office during and even after hours,” said president Tamara File. “We are big on confidentiality and try our best to provide a safe space for victims who come to seek help.”
