FMIS Finance Systems Analyst

Do you want to be part of the most significant journey for our countries’ Finance Systems in the last 20 years? Do you want to work with like-minded people, practicing confident project delivery for the Cook Islands?  The successful candidate for this position will form part of the project team responsible for working with end users and service providers, to implement the FMIS Solution across all CIG Agencies.  Components of this position include:

             Establishing underlying constraints and requirements collated from Agencies.

             Participate in system configuration, data conversion and deliver training for Agencies.

             Supporting the successful roll out of the FMIS into Agencies; and alignment to relevant Finance Polices & Procedures (CIGFPPM).

             Behaving as an ‘Ambassador for Change’; promoting the FMIS for Government Agencies and Service Providers.

This position will develop an integral function for CIG Financial Services, and transition the FMIS System for ‘business as usual’ into all CIG Agencies; as part of the FMIS Project completion.

Strong financial management and analytical experience is a mandatory requirement of this position. Interest in systems, government and public service delivery is essential. A tertiary degree with a major in Business or similar would be an advantage.
